The AX-1 10K Double Grip Packer can be used in most production, fracturing and injection applications. The tool can be set mechanically using tension or compression and then left set in tension, compression or neutral. This makes the AX-1 the packer of choice for shallow as well as deep operations.
A Full Open bypass allows the tool to equalize pressure before the tool disengages the casing wall. Target Engineering has performed detailed engineering, and created a packer that truly bypasses properly and when it should, correcting many of the problems inherent in other tools of the past.
All Target AX-1 10K Production Packers are built to 10,000psi (69 MPA) rating and are fully wireline set capable as standard features. Simply adding the Wireline Setting Kit and Shear Pins, and the AX-1 is ready to run on wireline with a Target T-2 On/Off Tool.
Sour Service versions as well as TargetBond Coated Injection options are available upon request. Special Materials for Chemical or Thermal Injection needs are also available options.
Multiple J-Slot options are available, with Right-Hand Set and Release as the standard option. When run with a Target T-2 On/Off Tool, the AX-1 packer can be left in place while repairing tubing or, with a Plug placed in the Stinger, used as a temporary bridge plug.
The Target AX-1 is the basis of the entire Target X-Series line of tools, making this an extremely versatile line of tools to accomplish most well servicing needs. The reduction of parts required to support the X-Series makes this a smart decision for any well servicing company.
T604 AX-10 X-Reset

The Target AX-10 X-Reset Packer is a wireline set packer that can be latched, released, moved to a new position in the well bore and reset mechanically. There is no need to retrieve the packer and then install Drag Blocks in the field to go back in to the well bore to set the packer again in a different position. This can now all be done in one tubing run with the Target T512 T-II Overshot.

The T614 HD-X 10K Compression Set Service Packer (AX-7) is used for high pressure production testing, squeeze cementing, acidizing and fracturing. Able to be configured in multiple different J-Track Configurations, the T614 can be run in tandem with the T750 TITAN Retrievable Bridge Plug to reduce tool trip times.
The T614 HD-X Compression Service Packer has an integral bypass system that allows circulation around the tools to remove cement and debris from around the tool when releasing.
The HD-X is part of the new X-SERIES™ of tools unique from Target Completions. Sharing components across the X-SERIES™ line gives the Service Provider the ability to have repair parts on shelf for multiple X-SERIES™ tools without having to stock individual parts for each model.
T1205 Pinnacle AX-8

The T1205 AX-8 Pinnacle Double Grip Compression Set Packer is designed for Service and Treatment Work. This 10K packer can be used in most service applications. With a large bypass and upper carbide hydraulic pistons (buttons), the Pinnacle is able to handle up to 10,000psi differential and hold in place during testing, squeeze work and treatments.
When run in tandem with the Target T750 TITAN, the tools can be used to isolate holes and perform a squeeze job in one run or isolate a zone for treatment. Multiple J-Track configurations are available to work in tandem with most RBPs.

T630 AX-3

The AX-3 Single Grip Compression Set Packer can be used in most low pressure or gas lift production applications. The large bypass is ideal for run in and out without swabbing and to be easier to release in wells that are known to have scale and debris issues.
Mechanically set using compression, the J-Track can be configured for a number of combinations to run with other tools, such as the Target T628 AX-5 or Target T750 TITAN Retrievable Bridge Plug. Please contact your Target salesman about the J-Track that best suits your requirement.
